These governance services and tools prevent tens of thousands of non-compliant actions while enabling early detection and automated remediation.

United Airlines powers seamless customer experience during travel disruptions with AWS Serverless Containers

United Airlines is a global airline that transports over 500,000 customers per day to 460 airports worldwide. The company was able to rapidly deploy a new feature in their mobile app that gave customers more control over their travel plans during disruptions. To power this new feature, United Airlines leveraged AWS services like Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) and AWS Fargate to quickly scale and respond to surges in customer usage during weather events.

United Airlines builds intelligent airport project on AWS to increase operational efficiency, reduce emissions

United Airlines saw an opportunity to use that time to build better and more efficient operations via enhancing its ground service equipment capabilities across more than 36,000 assets. Using AWS IoT Core and other services, United Airlines is able to process data from 20,000 sensors at a rate of 28 gigabytes per minute.
